A third generation kenyan, john has been guiding, hunting and operating safaris for close on 30 years, making him one of africa’S more experienced guides. Well known and hugely respected for his vast knowledge of the african bush.

John has led expeditions into the remotest parts of africa’s sudan, ethiopia, zaire, kenya and tanzania.

A true son of africa john is a honourary game warden of kenya and sudan, and was appointed official tourist consultant to the president of ethiopia.

A committed conservationist, john has led many an anti poaching patrol; has been involved in filming; particularly the famous lion charge scene in “Out of africa”. He loves walking and has a wonderful sense of humour.
